38 Years Ago Today, We began This Journey Together!

It was beautiful autumn day thirty-eight years ago when we both said, "I do".
In a little church in Stewiacke, Nova Scotia, decorated with autumn leaves and flowers from my mom's gardens, guests gathered to witness our sacred vows to each other. The music played, and songs were rendered,...Each for the Other and God Will Take Care Of You. Little did we realize then where all life would take us...'o'er hills and valleys, through sunshine and rain'...We've been together and blessed by our Lord! It's been a wonderful journey. Truly God has blessed me with such a great and wonderful husband Don to share these years. Joining us along the journey are our two precious children, Stephanie with her husband Allan, and Daniel with his wife Charish, and now two extra special little people...our grandchildren, Kasen (Daniel's son) and Linda (Stephanie's daughter). They are my special joys!
May they all keep their hand in His Who led us all the way,
Until that final day when we're gathered home to stay.

We survived Hurricane Kyle!

Thank God that the fury of Kyle was deminished as it was downgraded to a Tropical Storm when it made landfall last evening. Some areas received power outages and high wind but Zealand really just got alot of rain. Today the sun shines!

I listened the other day to the apple growers in Nova Scotia (my homeland)pleading for workers to pleae come and help bring in the harvest. The trees were laden with the ripe red fruit just waiting to be picked. With Hurricane Kyle lurking nearby, the harvest potentially would be lost and the fruit good for nothing but perhaps some juice. As I listened, I seemed to hear the "Lord of the Harvest" pleading for labourers in His harvest field.
There's a storm coming!! There is a hurricane of the endtime that's heading toward our world and we need to reap the precious fruit (souls) before it's too late.

May you be faithfully working today, gathering in His harvest.

Well it's been a very busy weekend here. Then again, weekends for the PW's are always busy.
We enjoyed having our little Granddaughter Princess Linda here for her 1st Birthday celebration. With everything decorated with pink and white balloons, mini lights and tulle, Grandma's house soon became the Princess' kingdom. Grandparents and aunts and uncles arrived to wish the wee one happiness and enjoyed a scrumptious buffet with cake and ice cream.
